Safety
Flight safety is provided by high quality aircraft equipment, namely: reliable and effective engines and avionics, and also with special characteristics of the aircraft design and systems, including the following:

• high safety margin of the airframe design
• dual performance and redundancy of especially important systems as electrical, hydraulic and other aircraft systems
• avionics, performed on the modern element base with high operational reliability level
• advanced automatic diagnostic and self-test systems
• automatic and manual fire extinguisher system
• aircraft collision in the air avoidance system, ground proximity warning with early report function and others
• design protection from loss of strength by weather impact, corrosion, icing and other factors.

• light strip of aircraft evacuation
• inflatable escape slides set directly on every door
• escape ropes set above every emergency exits
• two ultra short wave emergency radiostations
• automatic emergency radio beacon for communication with search services
• first-aid kits, electric megaphone, manual fire extinguishers, emergency axe
• two emergency survival packages for the evacuated passengers and crew in a camp stay (content of tropical, desert or arctic equipment set depends on climate conditions of the flight route)
• rescue swimming equipment: personal equipment - life jackets, rescue baskets and group equipment – life rafts.

Ecology
According to environmental protection requirements the aircraft complies with the following requirements:

• concerning Engine emission with:
• Annex 16 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, Volume II “Aircraft engine emission”, 2nd edition, July 1993, ICAO, Parts I и II, Part III (Chapters 1 and 2);
• concerning Environmental noise with:
• Annex 16 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, Volume I, Chapter 4.
