History
At the beginning of 90-s the development of An-74-68 aircraft under the direction of P. V. Balabuev by Antonov Development design office was started. In the year 2001 the detail design of the aircraft under the new brand of An-148 was developed.
In the year 2002 production of the first prototype of aircrafts was launched in Kiev. Mass production preparation was started at aviation plant in Kharkov and Voronezh in the year 2003. In September 2004 production of the first aircraft was completed.
On the 17th of December 2004 An-148 aircraft for the first time lift off from “Svyatoshino” airfield.

Aircraft with 70-80 passengers capacity and flying range up to 4400 km.
|
All three aircraft modifications (An-148-100A/-100B/-100E) have the same fuselage length and the same glider.
